SBAC Testing: Tuesday, March 28-Friday, April 7

During testing we will follow a modified daily schedule, but student release time remains 2:48 PM.

Testing is completed online. You can help support your students' best effort by reminding them to come prepared with their Chromebook fully charged daily. During testing, breakfast will be available to all students. Please encourage your student to eat each morning and to get plenty of rest each night. We can all support students by encouraging them to come prepared and give their best effort! Click here for daily testing schedule.

California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress-SBAC Testing

Each spring, most students in California participate in the statewide testing program, which is the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The tests in the CAASPP System provide information to teachers, parents/guardians, and students about student’s progress and readiness for college and career. In grades three through eight and grade eleven, most students take the Smarter Balance online tests for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics. Students in grades five and eight and high school, depending on which grade level in our district is assigned to take the California Science Test pilot, will take the California Science Test. Please see attached letter for additional information.

NCLUSD Dig Pink Event 1st Place in the state!

Thanks to all who participated and helped out in some way to make this a very successful event in our district. NCLUSD was 1st in the state and 5th in the nation!! Thanks to Angie Mackovich at Yolo and Vicki Felber at OHS for organizing such a great event that fundraised $8,562 for such a good cause. All sites came together as a team to make this a success!
